I know it’s been a million years, I want to say “I’m back! I’m cured!” sadly…this isn’t the case. But I’m a little better (sometimes) and I feel like I look awesome today so I thought I’d put it on my blog (what else is a blog for but to promote yourself anyway?!). I’ve seen a slew of specialists on my hiatus, gotten a job and been referred to even more specialists from the ones I’ve seen. It’s getting more and more refined (which is hopefully a good thing!) and I’m hoping for some answers and relief soon. Being so sick with no cure is sad and frustrating. I’m thankful to everyone who has been patient or reached out to me. I might not have written back (although I meant to) but I have been humbled by the kindness of strangers.
I also have to confess that to the tears of my bank account I’ve fallen head over heels for Omorovicza products. My skin has never been better. I know they are known for their Thermal cleansing balm but I’ve actually been using their foam cleanser (and their radiance serum…and their illuminating moisturiser…and their BB cream [made without silicones!]) and I’m obsessed. I love balm cleansers as much as the next girl but in the mornings I am TIRED (and in pain) and I don’t have the energy, the patience for a soothing balm cleanser. It will make me angry I’m not sleeping. I love the foam cleanser. It’s fast but effective. My face doesn’t get stripped of anything it actually needs (like oils and layers of skin!) but the dirt and grime of a night’s sleep is gone (how y face gets dirty in my sleep is beyond me and I’m not sure I want to know. It just works well with my sensitive skin and I’m obsessed. A definite re-buy for me!
Now, onto my awesome outfit. The same way designers do stuff for H&M and Target a few amazing designers do collections for a UK department store called Debenhams and I picked up some great stuff on sale (obviously on sale. I am a girl on a budget after all!) this great colourful dress is by Roksanda Ilincic (who I so can’t afford at her normal designer price!) and it was only £35 reduced from £75!). The shoes were a splurge years ago, my amazing snakeskin Givenchy 6 inch wedges that I did score for a bargain on eBay, about £300+ off retail….but still over £100.
