day five hundred and thirty, china glaze he’s going in circles

Does it get worse than attempting to go to sleep and realising you forgot to blog? But when you have a colour like this to talk about….suddenly it’s not so bad. It’s exciting! The China Glaze Kaleidoscope Collection is (in my opinion) one of the best nail polish collections to be released, ever. I was lucky enough to snap them all up on eBay in 2008 (when they were still new and no one had quite realised just how fantastic they were), for the record there are 12 colours – 6 warm and 6 cool (or 6 hot and cold? can’t quite remember, I never had them in packaging). Now these are harder and harder to come buy and can often go for scalper’s prices on eBay. I very much treasure my bottles (and still can’t believe I haven’t reviewed them all! I don’t know why I haven’t…it’s the 1 a day thing. I just wear whatever appeals in the moment!).

He’s Going in Circles is actually a seafoam green holo but it is flashing really strong silver in my photos. It was just so sunny when I took this photo (unlike today where it was rather grey…rather glad I have this photo set from this day to show off how stunning it really is!) that you can see how strong the holo really is in this polish. It’s the same for the whole collection, it’s one of the reasons it is so special. It covers a wide variety of colours with a strong holo finish. It’s just polish perfection to me…I am only sorry I don’t have backups (and that I won’t pay scalper prices!). If you can find a way to get your hands on this collection (any of them!) for a good deal…I would strongly recommend it, if you love holo…you need these!

(Now you can sort of see the green!)
