Apologies for my absence yesterday, book club ran long and by the time I got home I had to go right to sleep in order to get up this morning to get to work!
This is a great teal colour from a brand called Mode (another gift from Nixxy!). It’s delightfully shimmery and pretty…but of course, being a teal it’s impossible to capture. It looks too blue! Too green! Teals and purples are the Goldilocks of polishes to me, I can never get them ‘just right’. In an attempt to be truly colour accurate with this polish I fiddled around with the settings on my camera and made a valiant attempt.
I will say that I really liked the finished product of this polish. It was a bit sheer and so I used four thin coats (but you could probably get away with 2 thick coats [or even 3 thin ones...but I have an aversion to visible nail line]). It’s also worth noting this dries to a matte type finish, not completely matte, more of a neon matte. I used topcoat to make it more glossy and bring out the shimmer, I felt the matte effect dulled the beauty!

Beautiful colour! Reminds me a bit of China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise.
