womp womp, two lemming posts in a row! pretty unheard of. but don’t wine is a baby lemming and this is a massive, extensive search ultimate holy grail lemming that i can’t BELIEVEEEEEE i finally own! to put this one in perspective, i’ve been wanting it since april 2009. and here we are, november 2010. that’s a long time! it’s not my longest search by far, but it’s certainly a happy ending! i found this one in a nail supply place in los angeles and it is from the spring 2009 botanicals collection from jessica. i haven’t shown a lot of jessica on this blog even though i actually own a fair amount. mostly because i’m so in love with every jessica polish i own that i don’t want to wear them because then i’d have to take them off and i don’t want to ever take them off so i just don’t wear them! in my weird brain it makes sense….really!
i shot this in two different settings on my camera, i had trouble capturing the gorgeous purple it truly is…so if you take the two shades of purple and combine them…you really get the actual purple. it is closer to the yellowed background purple though in that picture you lose the AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS shimmer that glows out from your fingers. it also has this beautifully soft pearl finish that just completes the polish in this delicate fashion. this is the first time i’ve worn it since purchasing it in the summer and i seriously couldn’t stop looking down at my hands and jumping for joy inside (i was at work…it wouldn’t have been appropriate to jump for real and then i’d have to explain to my wonderful but all male colleagues that i was literally jumping for joy over a bottle of nail polish. they’d think i was crazy!!!). truly made my whole week….or maybe month or year. it’s not every day you get a polish that makes you THIS HAPPY!
isn’t it AMAZING!? sigh. i could just stare at it forever! (oh and my first finger is a bit messed up because i was typing so quickly i caught the nail of my first finger under the keys. happens all the time and makes me batty!!) i swear there is really intense multicolour shimmer in the pictures, you just might need to click on them to see the full sized photos to see it!
Do you really like this? I'm just quite not sure!! That is pretty. I'll have to check and see if I have this. I have some Jessica's, most of which I haven't worn. Hope I have it. This is really gorgeous. Glad you got your lemming.
