back in los angeles, feel like such a jet setter! i will say that in my 5 day absence my mum went to a beauty supply shop and did a total BINGE on nail polish! [it’s also worth noting that my suitcase back to los angeles was 4lbs heavier than on the way there…i bought so much drugstore NP!!!) so today we combined all the polishes i brought to swatch and the new polishes i bought and the polishes that she bought and she even did her very first skittles manicure to test out some of the colours i have (and she’s already a rescue beauty convert!!!). so the reason i’m telling you so much about my mum is because she is my very special hand model today!!! we went to sally’s beauty supply the day after i arrived in the USA and i bought a shedload of polish, including this very soft semi-sheer shimmery pink. totally not my colour but my mum wanted to be on my blog and she liked this colour. i had tons of trouble capturing it, it went too pale in almost every shot. think of it as a soft petal pink but it is definitely on the sheer side. but the shimmer is strong and very pretty. way not my taste but i feel like it would be a good wedding shade or maybe at a work where you need a super conservative colour!
so allow me to introduce…my mummy’s hands! (she wanted to be introduced in this post and she has PROMISED me she will write me a guest post soon 
) (and excuse the manicure quality, i painted it myself and i am SO BAD at painting someone else’s nails…even worse than painting my own!)
