oooo, so official! first daily post on the new site!
this is another from the china glaze kaleidoscope collection…i am honestly not even sure if i’ve ever worn it in all the years i’ve owned it! it’s a lovely gold prismatic shimmer. it’s incredibly bright and eye catching. i bought a new lamp for swatching but i must admit i don’t love it…have to drag my lazy bum to ikea to replace the lamp i broke because it was perfect! the lamp made these go kind of yellow but it’s definitely gold, i promise!
i will say that i had problems with chipping on this one. the cousin to the kaleidoscope collection, the OMG collection is known for its chipping problems but this collection was not. maybe it was just my nails and just this one weird experience. i’ve never had it with the others in the collection. just…in the interest of full disclosure i had chipping problems!

I should be getting TTYL from OMG today! Thanks for the heads up about chipping. I didn’t know that. I’ve never tried any holo polish before, so I was curious. hehe
hi sarah! i have swatched a few of the kaleidoscopes in the past, i have all 12! i don't own any of the OMG, i preferred the holo of the kaleidoscope! the difference is the type of holo, the kaleidoscope appears more glittery holo (when in reality it is smooth to the touch) and the OMG collection doesn't have the glitter look and the holo is maybe a bit more muted?
[...] la creme. it’s a really lovely gold prismatic polish…it reminds me a lot of china glaze it’s my turn (which is of course, still in London so i can’t do a comparison!). i will say that i really [...]
